Amazing sky

Do I remember the sky of my childhood and how it is compared with what I see today?  What is most significant in my memory about the sky and what does it mean?  I am afraid I did not pay much attention to the sky at that time since I played under the sun, in the field; and got home when the sun light was dim, when the night was coming.  It was light that created day and night, brightness and darkness.  Later, I also know that the sun that make the light also impacts the temperature, time, and many aspects of the earth at different spots individually and hence the people at these spots.  It's simple enough to know this and its simple to know that every happenings has its own merits from some perspectives and otherwise from other perspectives.

Amazing Jordan

A trip to Jordan, budget minded, ambitious sites visits turned out to be amazing experience... 3 most unforgettable are the dip in Dead Sea, the magnificent Petra and impressive Jerash plus other natural and historical sites.

Met people who drove from far away (as far as Netherlands) and came by public buses, plenty of hostels, and rooms to negotiate with local drivers in a rather safe environment to visit places.  Choice is yours... budget or luxury travel.  I did it somewhere in the middle and covered most of the main attractions in 3 nights 4 days.  This was a mind blowing trip beyond my expectation; despite the facts that I had visited many places in the past.

The dip in the Dead Sea is an amazing experience that can never be gained elsewhere.  The water level has subsided substantially over time but the volume is still amazingly huge, of such composition and density to 'float' objects.  Reading books or holding a camera to take photo while 'floating' in the sea is an experience.

The Petra is magnificent, mind blowing and breath taking as one imagine the size and architecture of such venue, the excavation efforts and preservation of them, and reflecting the capability of the ancient time.  And relating them to modern world, the journey that human have gone through and alone the way taken numerous achievements, disastrous incidents and impacted by nature.  The Dead Sea has reflected how minute a person is within mankind and on earth, Petra tells us the journey of mankind and nature over decades.  Jerash demonstrated yet another ancient creation leading me to reflect the two wonders could well be a minor discovery of the ancient time.  Synonymous to the Johari Window that says one can only see more as the blind window becomes smaller.
